Labeling is a great first step for new writers. Students build vocabulary and practice writing words before they're ready for sentences. Every page comes with and without a word bank. Kids who need help use the word bank, and more confident writers label on their own.
The Write the Room cards get students up and looking around the room. These pages also work well for ELL and ESL students. Everything prints in color or black and white.

How to Use
Print the pages you need and make copies. Most of these take only a few minutes to set up. Use them in a writing center, for morning work, in small groups, or as a whole class project. Finished crafts and writing pieces make a nice hallway or bulletin board display.

Why I made these
I taught third grade for seven years and have homeschooled my own kids for twelve. Writing time goes better when kids have a clear place to start. I made these so students get that support and finish with something they're proud to share.
