Five kinds of activities build from pictures to words. Students circle pictures with a hard or soft c, decide if a word has a hard or soft c, sort words and write words in the right column. The multiple choice pages include words like cycle and circle, which have both sounds. The exit ticket shows you who has it.

Why I made these
I taught 3rd grade for 7 years. Now I homeschool my own kids and tutor children with reading difficulties and dyslexia. Spelling rules give kids a reason for the spelling instead of a guess. I made these so each rule is short, easy to see and easy to practice.
